Damon L. Allen, born July 29, 1963, etched his name ​in the annals of Canadian football history as one of the ​greatest quarterbacks the CFL has ever seen. Over ​his remarkable 23-year career, Allen's ​accomplishments transcended mere statistics, ​embodying the resilience, skill, and passion that define ​a true sporting legend.


Allen's journey into football began at a tender age, ​honing his skills on the fields of Valencia Park's Pop ​Warner in San Diego. From those early beginnings, he ​embarked on a trajectory of excellence that would ​define his career. In high school, Allen showcased his ​prowess as a two-sport athlete, excelling as the ​starting quarterback at Lincoln High School and ​garnering accolades as a standout pitcher in baseball.


Continuing his athletic prowess at California State ​University, Fullerton, Allen left an indelible mark on the ​collegiate football landscape. Leading the Titans to two ​PCAA championships and breaking numerous ​records, he emerged as a standout quarterback, ​earning recognition as one of the top players in the ​nation. Despite receiving interest from Major League ​Baseball, Allen's passion for football ultimately led him ​to the Canadian Football League.
